This catalog contains 2,160 distinct Spotify playlists. The new discoveries collection adds 1,080 selections across 915 genre labels, from guitar scenes and jazz to house, instrumental music and quieter electronic sounds. Use the tags to find a listening mood or occasion.
The new collection was checked on October 17, 2026. Each playlist had between 2 and 2,000 saves. For the public track sample, usually the first 30 tracks, at least 70% of known lifetime play counts were below one million and the median was no more than 500,000. These are sample-based discovery criteria, not a guarantee that every track is obscure.
We also compared public lists of up to 100 tracks per playlist and excluded substantial overlaps with the earlier catalog and other new picks. The earlier 1,080 playlists retain their original October 3–4 snapshots; their small save counts describe playlist audiences rather than the popularity of every artist.
Most sources are genre overviews, introductions and discovery playlists linked to Every Noise at Once, The Sounds of Spotify and Particle Detector. A few are independent curators. Some selections are archival and may no longer be updated.
Category names, tags and descriptions are editorial notes for this catalog, with suggested listening situations and artist references from the public track lists. They are not official Spotify descriptions or claims that every track has been listened to.
Each playlist has its own Midjourney illustration inspired by its musical direction and mood. These are editorial illustrations, not official playlist covers. Every card links directly to Spotify. Daily picks also appear on our Russian-language Telegram channel.
